Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) successfully launches Runcation Mobile App

Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) has successfully launched Runcation Mobile App on both Android and iOS platforms. MPTB is leading the way in introducing and supporting new ideas for tourism promotion in the state.

The mobile app will be providing tourists with information about various destinations in Madhya Pradesh, and also help them discover interesting facts about the place, book accommodation before travel among others.

Tourists can find out destinations on the app via innovative technologies like 3600 photos and quizzes. Also, GPS-based treasure hunts available on the app are an attractive feature.
Currently, 7 destinations – Bhopal, Khajuraho, Gwalior, Mandu, Orchha, Pachmarhi, Pench are live on the mobile application with more destinations to be added soon.

Madhya Pradesh has a range of attractions for travel enthusiasts. It has a forest area cover of 77,700 sq. kms. filled with Sal Trees and Bamboos. It has numerous wildlife hotspots with 11 National parks and 24 Wildlife sanctuaries like Satpura Wildlife Sanctuary and Chambal Ghadiyal Sanctuary.

The UNESCO world heritage sites of Khajuraho, Bhimbetka and Sanchi are the iconic sites in Madhya Pradesh. The state has re-gained the tag of ‘Tiger State of the Country’ with maximum tiger count (526).
