The Bahamas sees over 5.89 million tourists from January to July

Tourism presentation has outperformed forecasts for the initial seven months of this year, with The Bahamas witnessing over 5.89 million influxes from January through the end of July, said the government officials. 

Data from the Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation said that present tourism presentation puts
the country nicely on the way to end the year with more than 8 million tourists.  

Of the nearly 6 million entire tourists who came to the islands of The Bahamas during the initial seven months of this year, 1,133,494 reached by air and 4,759,624 via sea.

July year-to-date influxes are going 59 percent ahead of last year and 30 percent ahead of 2019, which
remains the most eventful year till now.  

Associating 2023 general influxes by month, March influxes peaked at 951,311, making it a full of activity
month in the history of The Bahamas. 

For the period of the whole of 2022, 1,470,244 tourists arrived in their shores by air. 5,530,462 tourists
reached by sea.
