In six cities, Tourism Malaysia started its second roadshow

From 14 th August till 26 th August, 2023, Tourism Malaysia is organizing its second roadshow in India. This roadshow started off in 6 2-tier cities in the country. It started off with Amritsar, and gradually was organized in cities like Lucknow, Nagpur, Pune, Goa and Cochin.

The roadshow was headed by YB Tuan Khairul Firdaus Akbar Khan, Deputy Minister of Tourism, and it was participated 45 regional organizations like resorts, hotels, owners of tourism products, travel agents, Malaysia airlines and agents of various state tourism boards.

The first roadshow was arranged on 30 th January and continued till 7 th February, 2023. It was a major success and was hosted in 5 Indian cities.

Tourism Malaysia is all set expand its promotional initiations in India by arranging its second series of roadshow besides the participation in SATTE 2023.

There are several networking programs in this two-week roadshow like seminars, B2B session, added promotions of genres like golfing, wedding, shopping, filming and other niche categories. This roadshow also acts as a platform for Tourism Malaysian to display its next impending Visit Malaysia Year which will take place in 2026.

At this moment, Malaysia is aiming to draw 16.1 million foreign tourists with RM 49.3 billion tourism receipts. To Malaysia, India remains one of the top contributing countries.
