On Thursday, a high-level team of Nepalese politicians appreciated the measures adopted by Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, to encourage religious tourism in the state.
While showing interest in teaming up on the Manaskhand Mandir Mala project of the state, the team stated that Nepal has a fair chance to profit from it as many temples of Nepal fell under this circuit.
Pampa Bhusal, former Nepalese minister, said that they are happy with what the Uttarakhand CM is doing in a planned way to encourage religious tourism in the state. For example, The Manaskhand project, which is set to build up a religious tourism circuit that would connect all the main temples together, is a great idea. Pampa also said that in Nepal, there are many temples which are connected with the temples of the Manaskhand circuit. From this project, both India and Nepal can be advantageous.
She said that they bring this to the notice of their ministry.
Building up the Manaskhand corridor connecting all the well-known shrines spread across the Kumaon region neighboring Nepal was one of the primary promises made by the CM of Uttarakhand at the time his campaign for the Champawat assembly by-pol. Here, he won with a record margin.
