Atlanta is experiencing a slight upward trend in architectural tourism through events like the Open House Atlanta, one of the favorite architecture festivals in Atlanta. It has built a healthy business around the quality architecture and design of the city, and its preservation. On October 19-20th, 2019, the festival arranged free public tours of the newest and most historic landmarks of Atlanta.
In tourism sector, the role of architecture is significant and both of the things are directly interconnected with each other. From the historic ancient times it can be seen that architecture has a deep impact on tourism as we see temples were built to honor Gods, Grand Theatres, Stadiums, and Colosseum to grab the attention of people and large crowds of diverse cultures and societies utilized in entertaining themselves.
