Air Canada at Arlanda Airport to set up two direct routes next year

As the founding member of Star Alliance and at the same time as the biggest provider of scheduled passenger services on international and domestic market to and from Canada, Air Canada, will set up on June 12th 2024, at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, with two of its direct routes. These two routes will not only act as a significant link to the illustrious cities like Toronto and Montreal but also as a vital link to the whole Canada and North America.

When it comes to Swedish air travel market, there is good confidence. Air Canadas investment in terms of direct routes from Stockholm Arlanda Airport is a clear sign of this. In connecting Stockholm to well-established markets in Canada, North America and other countries, Air Canada will play an important role,
says Jonas Abrahamsson, the president and CEO of Swedavia. The main target of Swedavia is to improve the connectivity and the vast network of Air Canada simplifies things for people, be it for business reasons or leisure or to visit family and friends, says Jonas.

He also added that they continue with their strategy of creating international scale at their Toronto and Montreal global centers and they are quite happy to expand longstanding presence of Air Canada in Northern Europe with the addition of flights to Stockholm.
