In its role as the Official Airline and Strategic Partner of Expo 2023 Doha, Qatar Airways extends a warm invitation to explore the enchanting “Qatar Airways Garden. The captivating exhibit, which is a part of Expo 2023 Doha, will last six months, ending at the end of March 2024 he garden is a beautiful fusion of Qatar’s modern energy and its beloved traditions. It was inspired by the world’s botanical wonders, with a specific tribute to the timeless Gardens of Versailles.

The garden’s design captures renowned landmarks from the continents connected by Qatar Airways, spanning the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, highlighting Qatar’s pivotal role as a global hub. The garden exemplifies variety, sustainability, and cultural celebration while also showcasing the airline’s extensive interconnectedness. Upon entering this sanctuary, visitors are greeted by a giant yellow teddy bear. it is a famous nod to the acclaimed Lamp Bear at Hamad International Airport (HIA). As the centerpiece of the pavilion, the bear gives visitors a sense of familiarity and a taste of Qatar’s famed top-notch hospitality. David Beckham and Ronaldinho, two football legends, recently paid the pavilion a visit as well, highlighting its prominence as a top Expo attraction with their star power.

His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, the Chief Executive of Qatar Airways Group, stated that “our pavilion at Expo 2023 Doha represents their mission to uniting people, promoting sustainability, and always pushing the frontiers of the travel experience. He further stated “It derives inspiration from botanical marvels across the globe while showcasing Qatar’s pivotal role in global connectivity. We are thrilled to present visitors with a space that reflects our focus on innovation, customer experience, and deep-rooted ties to Qatari heritage.”

A notable attraction at the pavilion is the augmented QVerse platform, which seamlessly integrates digital innovation into the botanical experience. QVerse, widely hailed when introduced in April 2022, offers an immersive digital tour of Qatar Airways’ opulent interiors. Visitors can virtually go through First Class check-in desks, Premium Lounges, and Business and Economy Class cabins with the help of the airline’s MetaHuman cabin crew member named “Sama” (which means “sky” in Arabic).

The splendor of the orchard tree in the pavilion is evocative of the Al Mourjan Garden at HIA and skillfully combines natural beauty with cutting-edge design. This stunning addition highlights Qatar Airways’ commitment to fusing modern design with a natural aesthetic. The garden’s breathtaking above maze, which provides visitors with a singular blend of creative and experiential delight, stands out as a noteworthy feature. Visitors are asked to make their way through a captivating maze that is mirrored from above. This offers a beautiful, picturesque moment that is reflective in both design and experience. One of the centerpieces of the pavilion should be this work of art.

Aligning with its dedication to providing a comprehensive experience, Qatar Airways will enhance its in-flight offerings starting October 11, 2023. Onboard, passengers can look forward to specially selected drinks and an exclusive à la carte food from Evergreen Organics including ingredients from Qatari farms. To elevate the in-flight atmosphere further, a dedicated Expo-themed channel will feature over 30 gardening-related shows, ensuring that the journey to and from Doha echoes the botanical spirit of the Expo.
